Meet Recap

school record 2Senior thrower Jordan Ware had a night to remember at the South Bend St. Joe Regional meet. First, she placed 2nd in the discus at 117′ 6″, punching her ticket to the State Championship meet. What does she do for an encore? Her toss of 39′ 5.5″ took 1st place and broke a school record.

After graduating this weekend, Jordan will still have one more week of practice before Saturday’s meet in Bloomington.

On the track, the 4×100 meter relay team of Bella Hill, Kaylee Price, Krista Young, and Cadlyn Hanes ran a season-best 50.79 to claim 5th place. With one junior and three sophomores, the team that finished a half second from qualifying for State has a promising future.

The team finished 10 place overall out of the field of over 50 teams.
