Meet Recap

Jordan Ware is a Sectional Champion in the shot put and the discus after leading Elkhart Central to a 5th place finish. Seeded to win the shot put, it was the discus where she impressed, adding 12 feet to her personal best with a winning toss of 121′ 02.

Tylar Roberson will also advance to Regionals after taking 2nd in the long jump and 7th in the high jump. Joining the two seniors will be Brianna Jones (400, 4th), Jayda Miller (400, 6th), Lauren Dibley (1600, 5th), Kaylee Price (300 hurdles, 7th), and Hannah Sears (pole vault, 8th).

All three relays will also advance. The 4×100 team of Kaylee Price, Lauren Kollat, Krista Young, and Cadlyn Hanes and the 4×400 team of Brianna Jones, Cadlyn Hanes, Lauren Kollat, and Jayda Miller took 5th, while the 4×800 team of Hadley Malloy, Emma Romero, Kathy Reyes, and Lauren Dibley were 6th.

The girls will compete at the Regional track meet at South Bend St. Joseph next Tuesday.
