The Elkhart Central Boy tennis team was able to beat crosstown rival Elkhart Memorial 4-1 and bring the David K Rhymers trophy to its rightful home. In No. 1 singles Andrew Salmon won in two sets smashing his opponent 6-1 6-1. Hunter Sauserman and Jared Reid at No 1. doubles put up a good fight but lost in two sets. Michael Beveridge was able to pull out a win in two sets at No. 2 singles. At No. 2 doubles Adam Moon and Dane Frieden finished with a quality win over their opponents and at No. 3 singles Philip Stutsman played a great game and was able to beat his opponent to make it a team score of Elkhart Central 4, Elkhart Memorial 1. Elkhart Centrals JV team was also victorious 4-3 over Memorial.
